Our participation to the RAFINSECT research project

Abcar DIC Process participates in the RAFINSECT research project on the valorization of insects for the development of new products and ingredients, with several Universities in the North of France.

Analyzes of lipids, proteins or even chitin, everything is scrutinized to verify the impact of various processes, including D.I.C.

D.I.C. allows in particular by an enzymatic deactivation to avoid the oxidation of lipids over time. At the same time, it ensures the debacterization and elimination of spores, without degrading the material and its properties.

The texturation of the matrix generated by the D.I.C. improves drying times, as well as lipid/protein extraction yields.
